Dr. Lee successfully completes a Visiting Professorship at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina in Brazil






As a Visiting Professor at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (Federal University of Santa Catarina), Dr. Lee contributed to the Graduate Program in Physical Education through the following activities:
Participation as a keynote speaker in the academic event titled “Meeting PPGEF/UFSC 2025”. This activity, held at UFSC’s Sports Center, was attended by faculty members, master’s and doctoral students from the Graduate Program in Physical Education. The purpose of the event was to discuss the frontiers of knowledge in the field of Physical Activity and Health. Dr. Lee extensively shared their academic expertise and delivered the keynote lecture entitled “Addressing Global Challenges through Physical Activity and Health Research”.
Teaching academic content in the course DEF410063 (Advanced Studies in Physical Activity Related to Health), aimed at master’s and doctoral students of the Graduate Program in Physical Education at UFSC. This course, which is mandatory for PhD students, was offered in an intensive format over one week at the UFSC Sports Center. This year, we had the honor of welcoming Dr. Eun-Young Lee, whose valuable contributions greatly enriched the students’ learning experience on the following topics: Climate change, human behavior, and health-related physical activity; Intersectionality and physical activity; and Outdoor play as a solution to global challenges.
