Announcement: Dr. Eun-Young Lee Joins Yonsei University as Associate Professor

The In Situ Population Health Research Group is delighted to announce that Dr. Eun-Young Lee has joined the Department of Sport Industry Studies at Yonsei University as an Associate Professor, effective March 1, 2026.

Dr. Lee’s relocation to Yonsei marks an exciting new chapter in their research and teaching career. Dr. Lee’s work bridges health promotion, behavioral medicine, and population health, with a focus on social and environmental determinants of active living, equity in health behavior, and population health promotion strategies.

At Yonsei, Dr. Lee will continue leading projects that explore how individual, social, and policy-level factors influence physical activity and health outcomes across diverse populations. Dr. Lee will also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within the health, human ecology, urban planning, and public policy sectors to advance evidence-based and equitable approaches to promoting salutary, active living.

Dr. Lee expressed her enthusiasm about the transition:

I am thrilled to join Yonsei University’s vibrant academic community and contribute to expanding the role of sport and physical activity in improving population health. I look forward to new collaborations and opportunities to connect research, practice, and policy.
