In Situ UG trainees launch their podcast “At the Crossroads of Women in Sports”
Dilara Sen (Bkin 22’) and Maia Collins (BKin 22’), In Situ’s UG trainees launched a podcast, At the Crossroads of Women in Sport as part of their KNPE/HLTH323 coursework. This podcast is available on YouTube, Spotify, and iTunes.
Dilara and Maia are two students at Queen's University who are passionate about discussing the advancements and lack of opportunities for women in the professional sports environment, with a special focus on intersectionality. “At The Crossroads of Women in Sports” a platform where Dilara and Maia, with their guests, explore varying topics of women in sports.
Dilara and Maia will be interviewing varsity athletes and health researchers from diverse backgrounds.
In the first Episode, Dilara and Maia discuss varying topics of women in sports from income gaps to intersectionality in sports with their very first guest, Dr. Courtney Szto at Queen’s University.
